2" x 2500ft EMI 816 Tape Stock - Never used

Not sure how may facilities are still running 16/24 track 2" machines but if you are you may be interested in the following:

EMI 816 2” tape is new old stock that I’ve had in storage, unopened, still in it’s sealed bag.

This was EMI's version of the Scotch 206 or Ampex 406.

$50 per reel... not sure how many reels I've got, maybe 4 or 5.

Prefer Sydney pickup or delivery as these are very heavy but will post if you can't pickup.
Let me know your postcode and I'll find out the cost.

Also have some EMI 816 1/2" stock as well for those with the old 1/2" 8 track machines.

im not familiar with 816.. what does it compare to?
having said that - we are running 2 inch, and i need some tape!
so at $50/ roll ill take whatever you have, and pickup in syd is easy
