Greetings all,
I am thinking about introducing some slightly more sophisticated audio processing into my ham station and wonder if anyone has an old mono Symetrix 528 kicking around?
My AM ham station is rudimentary and 'agricultural' at best, with a mismatch of old junk cobbled together. Nothing terribly critical or refined so I don't mind if I find a unit with minor issues / faults, noisy etc etc... Mainly looking for comp/EQ/de-Ess etc which can be followed in the chain by peak lims maybe with asymmetrical modulation with inherent distortion...( btw, anyone have a Durrogh 310 or Inovonics 222..!)
Cheers,
Steve

Re: WTB. Symetrix 528
Another thought is to pair a CBS Volumax with an existing Aidimax which I have here...are there any dusty Volumax units out there ( the AM model with the clipper circuit...) ??
cheers,
Steve
