FS: API A2D Dual Microphone Preamp 312 / 512 w/ built in AD

Essentially 2 channels of vintage API 312 (512) preamps with quality built in AD conversion. The 2:1 button reduces the gain of the output transformer letting you overdrive the 2520 op amp giving you epic analog saturation/distortion that can't be found in the 512 series, works so good for driving bass or synths through the DI (or anything else you want to distort for that matter). I've been using the spdif out to my audio interface and it sounds insane but I just don't use it enough to keep it around. Sounds amazing on guitars/bass/synths/vocals/drums, well basically anything you run through it turns to warm vintage goodness. Perfect condition out of a smoke free studio. Sells for $3400 in most AU retailers, I'm selling for $1900.
