Tannoy SRM-10B Super Red Monitors
Vintage 10" Dual Concentric studio monitors.

excellent working condition
excellent physical condition, only missing the badges on the grilles.

$1400 for trockers,

Thanks Paul, you end up finding any series 600's? Still resolving our issues with a certain company about 'missing' ones...

Can't wait to get these bad boys fired up but this begs the question, what do tannoys like in the way of amp power? Do they like to be pushed harder? Solid state or tube?
They're rated at 80W a side so will try our spare Crown D-150 which is 75w/ch but the crown does have a heightened mid response which mightn't be what the doctor ordered.

Anyone got amps they'd recommend?

They like a bit of grunt. I use a Bryston 3b which is a 150w into 8ohm. I've been told it's best to have plenty of headroom & they seem to handle the peaks very well. Great monitors, Good luck.
