RARE CLASSICS
Two AKG C451E condensor microphones with CK6 (3 pickup pattern) capsules, plus one spare CK6 capsule, and two H30 shock mounts.
The CK6 capsule was built by AKG as a special order for Sydney Opera House, and these particular microphones were surplus to requirement. The microphones were purchased new from AWA by the present owner in the mid 1970s and have had very light use.
The CK6 capsule contains two CK1 capsules which can be switched to provide cardioid, omnidirectional or figure-8 patterns. With a response of 20Hz-20kHz they are eminently suitable to be used as an X-Y pair on a full orchestra, but are just as much at home on percussion or solo string or wind instruments.
The price for the complete package is $1,500.00. They are located in Sydney.
