A few weeks ago I bought some Adam A7X's from someone on Gumtree. They were never sent, and the seller just ignored all my emails and calls.
After contacting Gumtree, the police and my bank, it looks like I'll never see my money again.

So long story short, I still need some nearfields. I have since soured on the Adam's, and with a bit more research I'm very interested in the Neumann's. Thought I'd check here first before buying some new ones.
And please, no scammers!

Thanks Georg, I actually had a think about these ones, but they are just a little too big.
I'm going to be very close to the nearfields. (like 2 or 3 feet)

I am using them in a little space and they are great

The S8R from Quested is a two-way active near-/mid-field reference monitor

they are very good at low volume and high
I am moving to Europe and I would like to take them with me

Damn, rotten luck.

No tips on a deal, but I can highly recommend the Neumanns. I've got their big brothers and they're amazing.

Just sold a pair recently myself.
Hate hearing stories like this. Nothing infuriates me more actually. Really makes me sick when I hear these scam stories.
Best to use PayPal always if you don't know the seller.
