FS: B&K and Calrec mics
Posted: Mon Feb 22, 2016 6:37 pmSelling these much-loved omni mics, for the sole reason that I only have one of each of them, and all my classical recording requires pairs (except for spots, but you can't use omnis there) - so they're sitting idle.
B&K 4006, a superb mic, very rare now, useable for almost anything from vocals to room measurement. $1400. includes original extensive user and spec manual. In adapted hard(ish) case
Calrec CB20C mic body with CCO3 omni capsule. This is the Calrec series favoured by the BBC. A lovely, warm mic, especially nice on acoustic instruments including percussion. $500. In original Calrec soft padded case
I'm in the Blue Mountains, but for viewing convenience the mics are at a friend's studio in Balmain.
