Hi all, I am selling on behalf of Jeremy Williams- owner of Tall Trees Studio; a 4 channel Neve mic pre unit built by none other than the infamous racking King Rob Squires from Proharmonic. The build utilises original Neve 283 cards which have been turned into a Neve 1073 based pre. The unit also consists of an original Mariner input and output transformer on 2 of the channels and carnhill on the other 2 remaining channels use carnhill Tx
Sonically these pres are amazing and hold their own against my 1073, given its pedigree, this thing smashes clones out of the park! Highly regrettable sale.

Location?

Are these like the 1290 / 1073 mic pre section, with the ~80dB (?) gain, or more like 1272 (with one less gain stage)?

I'm trying to remember the whole layout / setup, but i think basically an additional stage is brought in for the extra 20dB or so?

I am pretty sure they are built similar to mine except these are built cards with transformers added to front and end giving 65dB of gain in total. Nice units that give a Nevesque sound.
