FS: Slingerland Vintage Stage Drummer Kit C1964 - immaculate

Hi all,

I have decided to sell my rare vintage Slingerland kit. This is what they called the Stage Drummer kit in about 1964. I have dated it to 1964 based on the serial numbers and the hardware.

It is a 4 piece kit with 3 ply shells with reinforcement rings and the "chocolate milk" interior. It is a beautiful Blue/purple sparkle in colour and is as immaculate as possible for a 50+ year old kit.

The sound is incredible - warm and vintage - one of the best sounding kits you'll ever hear.

Sizes are:
Bass drum 20" x 14"
Rack tom 12" x 8"
Floor tom 14" x 12"
Snare 14" x 5"
- includes rail consolette mount for tom
- includes cymbal arm on BD
- includes the original bass drum pedal and hihat stand
- rims and hardware are nickel plated brass with no pitting
** also includes a 22" Slingerland ride cymbal with Slingerland stamp (made by UFIP for Slingerland) - this is also a beautiful, mellow cymbal - better than any Zildjian I have ever played.
- kit is fitted with new Fibreskyn batters and new Aquarian vintage clear resonant skins

I am after $4K for this kit - you will never see another in this condition - it is not refinished; it is original

I'd really prefer to keep this kit, but there's no work happening and you can't eat drums.....
