SOLD: Crane Song HEDD 192 FS: $2700
Hi all.
Regretfully selling my HEDD 192. In great condition, and needless to say, it sounds astonishing.
I have had this stored for several years as I packed down my studio moons ago, so this thing is far too legendary to sit in a cupboard.
Comes with original box and foam inlay. Purchased late 2010.
I fired it up yesterday at a buddy’s Brunswick studio, even with the audio running through it without any processing it sounded drastically better than the aurora converters. Add the processing to it, and to quote my buddy, “it’s like the awesome button was turned on” - referring to the tape saturation.
This is one price of gear that really makes an objective difference to the mix, and little wonder why it’s favoured by mastering engineers. As a tracking tool, this thing is equally useful. If I thought I’d get back into recording, I wouldn’t be writing this ad.
$2700.
Pickup from Melbourne. Can ship anywhere in Oz at buyer’s expense.
Serial number: H683923-6
Thanks all,
Dave
