I bought this guy a couple of months ago whilst searching for a go-to acoustic instrument mic - and then the next day got a good deal on a matched pair of 451s. As much as I'd love to keep it in the kit, I don't do enough recording to justify hanging on to it.
Highly regarded and very versatile - I've used it on acoustic guitar, percussion, and viola and found it to be extremely natural and warm sounding, with a very focussed, 'direct' quality (hard to explain, but it just works really well on those sources). Cardioid and Omni settings make it a very flexible mic.
It's in perfect condition, and comes with clip, thread adaptor and wind sock, all in the original case (designed to hold a pair plus t-bar adaptor). $400, pickup in Melbourne (NE suburbs) or can deliver if it's convenient.
