Sold - Neumann um 57 tube mics (pair)

Ok next on the chopping block
A pair of 1950s Neumann um57
They are not a matched pair but they are the same level
Some tone same sound same build same parts same condition
As a pair they are perfect .. my definition of matched is a lot stricter then
Most . The nickel body on one is shiner then the other .
Original parts , original supplies, original Factory m7 Capsules that sound amazing
I haven’t restored these mic as they sound and are perfect .

They are quiet and do everything properly .

How do they sound compared to a u47 ?
From 1 meter away they sound the same
Up close singing on the capsule the u-47 has more bloom
The output of the 47 is higher
The headroom of the 57 is better
They can take more level then a 47 which means a screaming singer or a lit up guitar amp don’t
Fold them up like a u47
This is because there is a lower voltage on the m7 capsule ( so it’s switchable )
It’s more like a m49 in that regard .

And the tubes are like $60 each And easy to get not $6000 each And impossible to get

These are 1950s round badge mics From the classic Neumann years
don’t confuse them with later version GDR versions .

I want to sell them both together as a pair because that’s how much money I need fairly quickly
Sure There are worth more seperately but where are you ever going to find a pair ?
Buy them both make it easy for me .

I have a list of 2 buyers right now I’ll add whoever is serious to the list
So who ever actually wants to stump up the cash first
Has to wait an hour while I go back to the other guys this week and check .

But to be fair All bets are off by Friday and there is no waiting list after that .
It’s a lot of money to raise right now . I get it .
I need this problem solved in couple of weeks .
