Hi There,
Wont you miss the high quality plug-ins ?
I'm on Logic 8 ,iMac (intel). Do you think this would work for me? Do you have the standard configuration or any of the extras?
Regards Michael

Hi Michael, I downloaded the 3.0 software but have yet to install it. It's got the stock factory plugs and a couple of synths (access virus is one). The 3.0 software makes it Intel compatible according to the TC website. I'm still running Logic 7.2 so I'm not sure about the version 8 compatibility.
I'm really trying to cut back on gear I don't use a lot and this is one of those. It's in mint condition and I still have the original box.

Hi Kris,
I was checking out the website too. It seems it does this wrapper thing to work with audio units/Logic. I have just recently set up Spectrasonics Trilogy to work with a wrapper system and while it does work it takes a while to load .... feels cumbersome. When you play back you have to make sure the Trilogy track is not highlighted otherwise you get distortion. I must admit the idea of another wrapper puts me off.
Does the TC wrapper work the same way?

I think the spectrasonics wrapper solution is upsetting a lot of people. I have never noticed any problems with the wrapping done by the powercore. It functions as smoothly as the rest of the Logic plugs. But as I said, I am yet to use it on the Intel Mac.
