First rev. VCO board, the MIDI is under the keyboard so I haven't gone in there to see what it is, I tested the MIDI and it works. The machine is one that a friend left with me to sell, so I ran it up to check it, it had the nasty grinding sound that some Mini's get after a while, the PSU gets a sawtooth on it on some machines and require modification. Once I did that it sounds really smooth. It still has all the original capacitors, but despite that it has nice bottom end, with a re-cap it would be a monster. One of the power supply rectifier diodes died as well so I replaced all of them.

No, this is a really ugly sound that some Minis get when the power supply turns itself into a 1k sawtooth oscillator. But I do see your point, it's just that this is the wrong kind of nasty....

Yeah, was hoping to avoid the exorbitant rates of eBay, thanks for drawing more attention to it :). Oh well, everyone probably already knows it's up there, shame there's no such thing as a bargain on eBay AUS anymore.
