Posted: Thu Aug 21, 2008 9:50 amI've scored myself an Apogee converter so its time for the old MOTU unit to get the heave ho.
Its old, its clunky, and you probably wouldn't want to use its 8 preamps (2 mic/line multi-connector, 6 balanced line) for anything critical, but it will get your ADAT and/or SPDIF into firewire. The 8 balanced analog outs are also not too bad. And it is 24 bit.

I'm thinking something like $250. Or I'll swap it for 24 channel Neve console ...
