Hey guys,
I'm clearing out some gear to buy new gear.

For au$700 you can own a vintage Film Industries model M.8 ribbon microphone in pristine condition.
Funky blue/silver shockmount inlcuded. Ships in PermaStore padded hardcase, as pictured in bottom few photos.
This is a truly vintage microphone - original straw-lined cardboard box available on request!

Will post anywhere in the world, payment as bank transfer or add 3% for Paypal.

Has it always been stored lying on it's side like in the pic?

Hi Andy,
I couldn't tell you because this mic is (probably) older than me. I've only had it for a couple years, in which time it has been lying on it's side, however this has not affected it.
Vertical storage is mainly a problem when ribbons travel, which this mic has not.
