synth & studio gear for sale
well, it's official, I'm moving house real soon now. I've been talking about lightening my load of gear for a while...
All gear listed is sold as fully working - nothing will go without a full functional test here, and comes with a 2 week guarantee, so you can test it out in your own time.
let me know if you want photos of anything.
let me know if you got questions about anything.
I'm open to discounts on multiple things, or if it doesn't move at these prices. open to trades(outboard? synth? ask!) I'm serious about moving a bunch of this stuff in the next month or so.
anyway - here goes the first lot:
roland SRV-2000 (80s reverb w/ digital delay mode) $180
good cosmetics. pretty much unmarked.
ZOOM 9050 (90s multi fx... updated version of 9030 but I think it was aimed at not just guitar) $200
w/ patch select foot controller, rack ears, photocopied manual.
non-original PSU. great condition, but seems to be some totally rock hard clear drips of something on the screen.. no impact on using the screen. never bothered me, so I have never tried to clean it..
Ta@#$% PE-40 (4 channels of 4 band parametric EQ) $100
missing rack ears, missing 2 knob endcaps. pretty much unmarked on front. minimal scratching on top.
FMR RNC. (compressor) $220
great condition. w/ psu, and possibly a manual??
korg ES-1 (sampling drum machine - blinky groovebox kinda thing) $300
w/ box & manual & a smartmedia card. essentially unused. good cosmetics, minus a circular scratch above the stop button in the solid black paint.. if you look really hard, there's tiny scuffing on brushed aluminium surface in 1 or 2 places... non-korg PSU. think it also has the original UK one too.
Yamaha A5000 (rack sampler) $300
Yamaha's last gen rack sampler. 96 mb RAM (tbc) takes upto 128. Internal HDD (size tbc), comes with original cds and manuals. good cosmetics. bought it for gigging, but never used it. Because of this, I'll need to test this a fair bit before selling it to make sure it works OK, so might be a few weeks before I can actually sell it.
jomox xbase09 w/ xrom mod installed. (909ish modern analogue drum machine) $800
w/ manual and original jomox PSU. great condition. (xrom mod makes this a bit like a poor mans xbase 999 - it gives you 4 banks of flash memory to use instead of the factory samples for the sample based instruments.. can't sample directly into it, but can dump samples via MIDI using a special app. MIDI sample dumps here are not such an issue speed-wise, as the sample memory is tiny and you only need to dump them once because flash is non-volatile.)
casio FZ-1 (old sampler - dead floppy drive) free with any purchase...
w/ max (2 MB!) ram expansion. w/ manual (tatty but all there)
apparently you can replace the drive with a bit of work. I have no time now.
it makes a great solid midi master keyboard as is, and you can still use it for sampling even if you don't save the samples.
a bit beat up, but not horrible condition. LCD backlight is dead, too... buttons could do with a clean... aaah well.
SKB gig rig - $100
