Why are you getting rid of them?
Not your cup of tea?
I would love to buy the pair off you but no mon no fun - lol.
How about a swap - 1 x NV500 for the Joe modded C12 copy I have - worth the same money.
They are great, but if you look at my gear list it shows I have a heap of pres. Sorry I have heap of mic as well.

Hi nIC
I am watching them on ebay, and will probably bid (when wife isnt looking).
How do they compare to the 99V500s?

Hi Gian
The TG500 is bottom mid heavy/thick sounding, the Dual99v is toppy/bit thin and the NV500 cover's both being very smooth/coloured when pushed.

I have an NV500, and a rack pair of TG's, they both sound fantastic on just about anything you'd like to put through them. bid without fear.

so if you had to choose on female vocals, that were very clean normally, would u choose 99V500 or NV500?

I think for most vocals the NV500 would work very well. The Dual 99v is great on acoustic guitar.

I'd be tempted to at least try the TG on a clean female vocal.

Have u tried the TG on acoustic? Would you lean towards the 99V over the TG on acoustic?

I would, but the NV is also great on acoustic guitar...... nice full sound...... 99v being on the bright side.

As I don't yet have a case to put 500 series modules, where would be the cheapest place to get the 6 unit API lunchbox case?
I emailed Joe Malone and he gave me a price.
Anywhere else I should be getting quotes from?
Anyone looking to sell theirs?
