various vintage stuff for sale (and other things too)

So I'm getting married and moving house so subsequently I need to divest myself of various things that are cluttering up the garage.

Classic 70's Yamaha PM700 12+2 into 2 Mixing desk. Great build quality with discrete, inductor/gyrator based fixed 3 band EQ on every input and output, transformer on every input and output, Passive mixing stage with discrete gain make up in the master section. Switchable VU meters, 2 auxes, Talkback, and this particular unit features a multi-pin input connector accessing all the input channels for use with a multicore. Comes in an integrated case which can be carried by one person even though its quite heavy.
I have racked up individual channels from a different PM700 and I still use the pair that I kept regularly for bass, electric guitars and dirty but fun kick/snare/tom sounds. The master section includes the same discrete 3 band EQ and yamaha discrete opamps in the summing stages driving quality output transformers.
You can download the manual with various schematics here (http://www.yamaha.co.jp/manual/english/ and search for PM700) and I can also provide you with the pinouts and info for racking the strips if you want.
$550 for the whole unit! You can part out the console, use the meters, input and the output transformers, discrete opamps, rack up the strips whatever, even use it as it is!
STC repeating coils. Basically 600:600 transformers with a couple of extra taps. This are very large, heavy and test very well on my oscilloscope with flat response out way past 20k and rolling off around the 25hz mark. Sound solid and I was not able to overdrive them at all not matter how hard I pushed them. I have at least 2. $60 each
Trimax type A55 valve line amps. Built here in coburg melbourne around 1962-65, these are really interesting, and feature high quality input and output transformers high grade wirewound resistors, stepped gain controls in 1db and 10db steps, and outstanding build quality. I have included the schematics as well. The input transformers can also be used for class A single ended output stages if that takes your fancy! Gavin Pearce will be converting a couple of these into mic preamps for me but as I have a few I thought I'd give others the chance to play with some great australian valve gear. Each one is in good condition, though perhaps a little dusty(!) $250 each and there are 5. 4xSOLD only 1 left
Two different kind of output transformers. The ones on the left are trimax 1:2 or 1:1 transformers type TA 605 rated to +18dbm these are excellent transformers and are easily mounted. I have 4 to sell $50 each
The ones on the right are AWA transformers and are similar to the repeat coils. They are 3/1215a design and feature multiple taps and can be set up for 1:1 or 1:1:1 or a few other ratios. Don't know too much about them but they are very heavy and spec'd out very well with a signal generator. I have 6. $40 each
Quantum Labs QM-8b. This is an 8 channel desk built in the mid 70's. Very flexible desk built for use with 4-track recorders. I have the manual which has all the schematics. Large input transformers on every channel other quantum labs models have Jensen or sowter tx's but there are no markings on these so no idea what brand), 3 band switched EQ, and an I/O patch allowing inserts between pre and fader, 4-bus design with an 8 channel stereo monitor section. I've had this up and running but when I pulled it out of the garage to take the pics the fuse holder no longer has the cap or the fuse so I couldn't test it. She worked fine last time I used it a number of years ago though two switches are damaged and a few of the faders where very scratchy. This would be an excellent desk if restored or a great source of parts. The knobs are really cool, there are four big VU's and of course all the input transformers. SOLD
SE electronics z1100. Pretty standard bduget large diaphragm cardioid condenser. Sounds decent and I've used it mainly on acoustic bass and room duties. The elastic on the suspension has perished but is easily replaced otherwise in very good condition. $150
Fostex MC11s stereo electret condensor. battery or phantom power, low cut filter, 5 pin xlr output and comes with 5 pin xlr to 2x 3 pin xlr cable. Near new condition used once only, box still has tag for rrp $399. $250
Stewart MP-2 mic preamp with EQ. This is a transformer-less FET design with bypassable 3 band eq, swept mids, low cut, pad, phantom and phase inversion with a balanced selectable output (-10, +4 +8). comes with the 24v power supply. ok visible condition but works great. $175
Calrec Talkback module. Can be used as a standalone mic pre, contains I/O transformers from Lundahl and 5532 based mic pre. The mic is a condensor and can be removed from the module and used standalone. I have used this for hihats and other sources. Meant to rack up as a mic preamp but just not going to get around to it. $150 SOLD
Vintage AKG N46E Phantom power supply. 2 channels of high current 48v phantom power with 3 position bass roll off. Originally supplied for C414 EB and c451 EB microphones. $80 SOLD
Lexicon Midi remote controller. a baby LARC for use with LXP-15, PCM-70, or 80 or 90 etc. Provides better and quicker access to reverb and fx parameters with an LCD screen. $75 SOLD
High Quality stereo Luxman Amp with remote control. This is a great sounding amp with full features, in built tuner, A/B room switch, EQ, many inputs, facility to insert a processor between pre and power stages, LCD display etc. Haven't used for a few years but before that used everyday for 10 years without a hitch. $100 SOLD
