Get Echo Boy by Sound Toys, best echo plugin I've heard yet. Saves fixing up a 30 year old box.

Hi there,

C'mon.... the real feel and control of the 201 is much more FUN than *swinging the mouse* !

Yea, throw away those old compressors and EQ's and just use plugins... saves you fixing up 30 year old boxes.

Yes, who would buy (or hire) beautiful vintage gear when you can just use plugins? :P

Yeah save your dollars fixing up that silly hardware. it'll only break again in about 15 years and you'll have to fix it again.
Invest in software, it'll never break down............and will probebly not be compatible with your computer in 5 years.

Wow, that was meant to be funny, but I just read it back and I sound like an arogant wanker. Ha!
Sorry, not my intention. The Echo Boy plugs are great no doubt about it.

That listing says surface mail so it will take 6 weeks to 3 months to arrive. From what I've seen airmail from Canada is a lot more than the US and would be closer to the $300US mark.

Get an RE501. Plug a Roland TR808 into the input. Crank the input to distortion levels, add a tiny bit of tape echo. Drum distortion heaven. A plug-in can never do this.
