Angus, arent those the faulty mics you bought on Ebay the other month? What was wrong with them? I was going to bid on them but was swayed away by the fact that it was going on and off as stated in the ebay ad description? I would love to know what happened to the C12 that was up for auction as well.
How good was the condition when you first received them and what was wrong with them? All up how much did it cost to fix?
Thanks.

I bought an old U87 2 years ago on ebay and it cost me $760 to fix so I can vouch for the high expense of fixing high end mics.

Shonky sellers on ebay is a real pain in the butt and Ebay gets away with doing nothing about it except for a threat of a negative feedback. You should keep them atleast for a year and give them a good use. Try and get some money back on them. It would be a waste to just buy, repair and sell.
