This is a portable DAT recorder, and was the primary choice of film sound recordists for many years. For those not scared of the format, this could be a very useful recording tool. The TCD-D10 Pro 2 features a 4-motor mechanism and rock-solid servos controlling all aspects of the mechanics.

This machine has been reconditioned and we are offering it with a 3 month warranty. It comes with a mains power supply; batteries can be obtained through Sony outlets.

$525.00 inc GST. More info from hjones@studiosolutions.net.au or 0412-888-313.

Wow - memories. I made my first ever band recording mixed down on a TCD-D10!

The TCD-D10 was okay, but the D10 Pro 2 was vastly superior. Mind you, they both got satisfactory 16-bit, 44.1kH recordings to tape. Nothing wrong with using them for mixdowns.

You're right Howard - the original version that I had did come with some teething problems, especially the eject interlock mechanism and the drives. They fixed these in the Pro2. Its a much better beast, but then it wasn't around when I bought mine. I still got my money's worth out of the original. Good luck with this sale.
