TRM five minute NEVE auction

ok i found my neve modules
i need to pay Rob some money and the funds are going straight to him again , and i suggest you talk him into racking them , because he has done it before , it can be a pain with these modules , but he seems to like the challenge.

whats up for auction
2x Neve 83012 mono console channels from a 51 series console
they include a 80 db transformer balanced mic pre with filters and eq in each channel
and 2 x Neve ev10852 pumpkin output cards .

i know the modules look ratty in the photos but i will make sure you have enough clean and unbroken knobs on each channel .

these channels worked in the console i pulled them from , but that was 10 years ago , however it was i console i used a lot
( ie it was mine .)

it was channel sevens on air console before that .

the modules probably need a recapp etc etc , but they will rack up and clean up really well
perhaps rob can do a racking guestimate for us ...?

price ?
well they are $600 each inc the output card ( which is actually stereo has two $125 transformers on them and you only need 1 of them )

i can either do two at once or one a time , you guys can vote how that goes again

i am going to do the auction on weds night around 8:30 pm unless i change my mind , first in gets them :

I might be inetrested in 1 of them..Could Rob provide the complete price estimate racking, recapping and anything else that it would require to be brought up to plug+play condition.

Hi Rick, here we go again. :-)

I'd only bid if they were a pair. Can you confirm whether you will pair them or auction them individually?

Cheers

P.S. I won't be so Nice next time. ;-)

weekend auction seems to work best as most of us are on the site then. I say no to mid week auction.

mmm

i like the winner gets to choose if they want one or both....

im out of this one. mr rob has all my spare cashola....

maybe we can re name this forum as the Rob Squire fund..
just send him all your busted or need to chop up & re-rack gear and some money. he will then charge someone else the balance and send the gear to that person.....

I'm out... Just bought a juicy HD CRT monitor for the studio, rare beast indeed these days. Need that more than another pre.

racked a pair of these last month. These ones were fresh out of their electrostatic bag...never been used ( or abused ) and so didn't require recapping. Cost was $1,150. Most likely these babies of Rick's will need recapping...so add another $80 or so. Any other repairs above and beyond that. But without the pesky compressor option they are reasonably easily fixed.

Here's what they could look like ( don't ask to have meters on them...they won't fit )
