FS: Symetrix 501 Compressor, one left, $150
Posted: Tue Oct 13, 2009 11:40 amPair of Symetrix 501 Compressor/Limiters I'm after $400 for the pair. I will consider selling them seperately for $250 each. These are in Perth so postage costs are extra.
I've had these for a few years, perfect working condition and cosmetically good. They have a few bits of tape on the front and a few whiteboard marker marks for recalling settings which I'll clean up when they are sold. The only other thing is that the power supply in one of these hums a bit. Its not in the audio path and doesn't effect performance, its purely a mechanical noise you hear when you put the unit up to your ear.
Do a google on these, or check out posts at www.gearslutz.com etc for more info. Good allround compressors that lots of people out in webland like, including me. They have seperate compressor/limiter sections, balanced and unbalanced ins and outs and side chain ins/outs.
