I'm assuming you're after the jacks themselves, not the female sockets. Longframe TRS jacks (AKA 'B-Gauge' phono Jacks) are kinda like normal TRS jacks, but not. they are slightly longer, and the end is sort of rounded. They aren't interchangeable with standard TRS jacks.

They are the 'old' style telephone jack, I think first designed for use in telephone exchanges. As a matter of interest, at Sweeney's pub (corner of Clarence and Druitt sts) there is an old telephone exchange patchbay on the first floor, complete with retractable longframe jack leads and patchbay.

You can still buy them new, from Farnell part number 439125 $20.33 each (less if you buy more). Hideously expensive, I bought around 130...

Is that the same as normal "Bantam" jacks? (Not the more common mini bantam)
(Look like a 1/4inch jack, but not quite the same..)

If so, I have about 10 of these patch leads that I'm sure as hell not using.

RS is cheaper: $12.80 - just bought some yesterday.
I have 2 patchbays of the B sockets, which are Army surplus. I found them in Auckland in a fantastic kind of shop which we don't seem to have on these shores: electronics surplus store, which included things like ex-military electronics and manufacturers' surplus stock. Everything from miniature gold-plated 6-pole-12 posn switches to tape stock.
I remember there used to be a similar place on Oxford St before it glammed up - Waltham Dan - packed with old ex-ABC gear, 110v lightbulbs (useful!).
Bought a 1930's reel projector there for my sister for her birthday - didn't come with an Orson Welles flat cap and cigar, though.

Yes that's right - RS has them cheaper. Farnell will price match them though (I have an account with Farnell so it's just easier).

Still expensive though... But hey, they're of a very high quality and manufactured in Liechtenstein...
