Up for sale are a pair powered Event ASP8 precision studio monitors with 8" bass speakers. These are great speakers and retail at over $3k.
Great bottom end, great detail and are in great condition as they were my personal at home monitors. They are too big for my setup at the moment.

What sized room do you recommend for a set of speakers like this? Are they too large for a home/project studio ie: Need a large purpose built or very well treated control room? I am looking for a pair of monitors at the moment, how would they compair to Yamaha HS80? Cheers Jono

I was wondering whether you Jonno was jumping on this. You should seriously consider it.

Before the Events I had a pair of Dynaudio BM6, great speakers but they were rear ported and I just could not get the bass to translate properly in my room. Probably because I had them close to the rear wall, but the Events worked out better.
The Events are about the same size as Mackie 824 but that is where the similarity ends.
