WTB 2 u Black comp/mic pre !

Hi there,
Have 2 spaces left in my *good* rack and was looking for something worthy to fill it with !
Pref.. decent comp or mic pre or anything you may have pref dark.(ie NOT white)
PM me please with whatever and price.
(trying to stop GS addiction by not having any rack spaces left !)
I've thought about the 2 u racked Iced Vo vo's...but the colour clashes with the rest of my rack stuff !

how much black do you want?
I do have a racked pair of MCI-500 left...but there is lots of cream in there!
knobs are black!
otherwise I can organise a nice black blanking panel for not much $$...

Those black blanking pannels are a bitch to wire, but they sound great......especially if you can find one from the 70's.

indeed. I could make you a nice vintage blanking plate with meters and retro knobs and labels like "cross-coupling inductance linkage moderator". Use it to baffle annoying clients

I don't think I've ever looked at buying a rack unit because of it's colour or looks!
Unless by colour you are meaning a "dark sounding pre" ?!

Yeah...Mainstreet...gotta get me one of them !
I don't really NEED anything...i have just got to fill the 2u up
(and I hate blanks)...something that says Neve would be nice !
Actually i just missed out (a couple of weeks ago) on racked 2x Neve line amps from
Dave from Atlantis, which went for under a grand...they would have been ideal.
Keep em coming !!
(also must be xlr i/o too !)
