Thanks Kurt ,not skylines more like this,ive seen all the diy builds,its really a case of sourcing in Aus at a realistic price

That's even less work, $599+ seems a tad ridiculous. Might have a chat to a cabinet maker friend and go into business!

In most normal situations, its not possible to diffuse lower frequencies because their wavelength is too long. The realtraps version combines a QRD diffuser with one of realtraps membrane absorbers. It's the best of both worlds, absorption of the lower frequencies, diffusion of the higher frequencies. It's probably well worth the price tag.

rpg stuff is done by acoustic vision in victoria they would have the real thing in stock (they import everything )

I built my own QRD diffusors, time consuming but they look excellent and I get lots of compliments. There are various websites with formulas but I'm overseas right now and dont have my notes. I ended up with 2 pairs of panels going down to 400hz 2 pairs down to 900hz and 1 pair down to 1.5k. Easy build with standard pine and mdf.
