i just thought i would add i always read your blog
cant say i enjoy reading it but its so damn well written - it is a real credit to you

if you see one of your turns of phrase borrowed by me in a future magazine column i apoligise ahead of time , i cannot get things that succinctly even bi monthly and without the weight of the world on my shoulders ... you amaze me kris

people always say to me -

" hey you should of been a writer "
"why do you say that" i ask
"oh you know because you write so well "

"oh you have read my stuff somewhere ? .... hmm maybe i will be a writer then..... would you mind holding all the other stuff i enjoy doing so i can concentrate on my new "real" career ...?

Things aren't so good right now.... cancer markers have doubled again, 4th blood test in a row. It means the cancer is active and growing again. Feeling pretty fragile at the moment. Rach is in NZ with the boys on holiday... can't raise her. These are the days I dread.

My short term memory is pretty much fried these days thanks to the chemo... but I remembered I wanted to say thanks to everyone here for the words of encouragement and support. It really does mean a lot.

Just bumping this one and also letting you know my cancer levels have decreased by 10% as of last Friday. This is without another round of chemo, which shows the drugs are doing their job, so the round I had on Friday should yield better results again. Things appear to be back under control for now. Doc happy with results. Thanks for all the messages and kind words.

Re-visiting this one... I have been able to play a bit the last few days and the Tele just doesn't fit my "sound" anymore.
