HI guys,
I know a lot of you have interesting bit's of old junk in your cupboards, wondering if anyone's got an old Akai S-612 rack sampler they no longer need. Yep I'm on the hunt for the dinosaur! ;)
Would prefer one in good condition, willing to pay whatever we can both agree is fair.
Cheers,
Richard

Oooh, do you want it for the distortion? Creamy. I've been hunting one too. If anyone has two to get rid of count me in.

What an awesome piece of gear. I just picked up my second one on ebay for $50!
Best of luck with your search - If I come across any more I'll let you know.

Dunno really, am really after something a bit different from all the analog synths I've been getting lately - just being spontaneous ;)
(that, and I like FSOL's Papua New Guinea [their first sampler!])

Just a bump, still after one of these. Surely someone has one they want to offload?

Sorry, really only interested in the 612 - otherwise I'd be up for it - I know, I'm quite picky

Ha yeah, it's those sliders innit? Great fun... mine's plugged into the AX60 for mental sample arpeggio grunge!
