Hello Peeps, I am new to Turtlerock, I was told this may be a good place to find a Buyer for my Allen & Heath System 8 console.

The Mark 2 System 8 has been in a studio in Sydney since its purchase in the mid '80s,
it is not in A1 condition with an Aux send or two not working, a couple of crackly pots and some meter bulbs need replaced.
All in all nothing too serious, it also has a working PSU.

If need be I can have the console fixed by a local Authorised A&H tech who lives close to my house in Katoomba NSW,
which would bring guarantees of working order to the sale.

So if anyone is interested in my MK2 System 8 console please reply

I wish I had space for this Board as it is a versatile, very well constructed and great sounding console.

ie, how many input channels, and how many tape inputs?

if you have the extra input sidecar I'd be very very interested.

The Mark 2 System 8 (SERIAL No. 2439) has: 8 Groups - 16 Channel inputs - 16 Tape inputs - 3 Aux sends
Direct outputs and Inserts all over the shop.

I really like mine.

Got the 24 channel and it's solid as a rock, very usable pre's
