Joemeek VC3Q MicPre/Compressor/EQ

Great sounding low budget mic pre. This is a Ted Fletcher original and not the re-issue. Warm sounding with lots of gain and very usable compressor. Some dents on the side but aside from that unit works fine.
This is a secret weapon among some famous UK rappers and reggae singers... hint hint nudge nudge......

The drum machine has me curious, but even at $50 (plus $22.90 postage up my way) it's a bit of a risk being that it's untested of being D.O.A... :-?

You couldn't just plug it into your mixer/amp/what have you and suss it out? Would probs help zee sale.

it looks like a pretty much straight bite of an SDS-V, interface-wise. In that case, its designed to be run from piezo elements in drum pads.

If you power it up and hook in a mic lead to the top row inputs (each input should correspond to a slot that a module can go in) you can trigger it with a drum signal from something (start low volume and wind it up till it works!)

there should be a mix out on an xlr that you can put straight into your desk (maybe with the pad on if your desk only does mic in on an xlr) or the other row of xlr outs should be individual outs...

PS, I'm curious to know what 2 of the modules are. Auction shows 3 x toms close up, and I'm expecting the other two should be kick and snare, but I see no pictures or mention in the auction showing it for sure.

Hey guys. I just updated the ebay site with the latest news. I powered it up and triggered its sounds. I got sounds from all the channels but the overall output is a quiet. Also the sliders and nobs are crackley. This machine needs alot of TLC, but like I said it works but has many issues...

As for the modules it has:
BASS DRUM - SNARE DRUM - BASS TOM - LOW TOM - HIGH TOM...

Hope that all helps.
