WTB: Neumann U87
Posted: Thu Nov 25, 2010 12:54 pmIf anyone is interested in parting with their U87 and it's in good physical and mechanical condition I am keen to buy on the spot. Preferably it has seen a service or at least received a green-light in recent years, and has the original case etc.
I've found the current going rate is about $2250 in the US for one in fantastic nick and I've offered but missed out on several in the last two weeks. Including the eBay turkeys.
Should yours be a special one for whatever reason I'd be willing to dig a little deeper, but I'm hoping to pick one up for the going rate at the mo. No Ai models please. 70s is preferred.
