It's a classy beast alright, though that chair arrived with a crack in the leg so I'm NOT very bloody happy. Thanks courier.

Aww, the NTK. The first "proper" microphone I ever bought.

And, hell yeah, people still smoke in their studio! I smoke like a chimney in mine... wait, does it still count as a studio if none of your gear works anymore? Mine doesn't; I can't imagine why. :-\

Yeah it did it's job and well, but it has been sitting patiently in its case waiting for someone to befriend it. Price is good, no?

I thought smoking went out in the late nineties? It's funny, I was at a really scummy bar a while ago (they scanned IDs and took photos, no joke) in support of a friend's band and they had a ciggie machine there. A ciggie machine! I pressed the buttons - that's what we all do - and there wasn't a packet under $18 in the whole machine. If you still smoke these days, you need to be thinking about a new vice. Or a higher paying job. I just smile to think of all the scotch I've been able to buy in the ten+ years since I went cold turkey.

Now someone buy my mic already.
