I believe the time has come to part with my beautiful Mackie desk and I'll be sad to see it go, but it has served it's role for me and I'm on the upgrade path. I'm sure you guys all know this model pretty well, but I've keyed a brief features blurb below.
So here's the sales pitch:
I've owned and used this desk for about a year and a half, and it's the best one of this model that I've seen (which is why I bought it). Cosmetically and functionally it's just about perfect - no marks / no crackles or clicks. The guy I bought the 24.8 from said that he purchased it new and it was never gigged (and it does look that good).
The 24E and meterbridge also looks brand new - I even have the original Mackie boxes for them.
I've used every channel / knob / fader / button / jack regularly and everything works perfectly except for:
1/ channel 17 line input on the 24E is down just a few db (reading from the meter bridge)
2/ 2 of the solo LEDs on the 24E aren't illuminating, but the solo still functions
So here's the hard bit - I'm after $2,660 if a Turtlerocker wants it (that's what it owes me) and I can bring it up to Sydney city (for free) on my next visit if anyone is interested.
