Mirrored sentiment, Rick. I'm sure it would sound better than the off the shelf ones you can buy today. Yuck. It's amazing how plasticky and frizzy they sound. I would buy a Laney VC30 (a-class) over a new AC30 anyday as they have the same chime but without the cheese.

Anyway, Rom - that's a wonderful piece. If you were a fellow amp lover and trader I'd offer to swap you my ltd white tolex Marshall '1962' bluesbreaker (below) which stays entombed in its roadcase, but I'm sure you are after the cash. Good luck.

Haha, amps are defiantly left handed at the moment but easily swayed given the right home, I even made sure to order the subject title not to count out you right-handers on the Amps atleast.

Some experimentation with the Vox's tubes combinations and it is indeed as sweet and versatile as it is a nice piece of furniture. Master volume would be a luxury but the half power switch is also a capable tool. Yes i'm very sad to see it go>damn the price of rack outboard..

That Marshall is indeed just as tempting as keeping the Vox David, but my amateur priorities currently = less amps>more processors.
On the current state of Vox I AM interested to here their new outing with Tony Bruno at the design helm, that guy knows the ACsound + Build&Design. Although it seems they've gone for a more 'American' voicing. Interesting.

Thanks Guys
