Neumann tlm170i and AT4050 for sale
I've got a purchase in mind and so I'm putting up for sale my TLM170i and my AT4050 (again).
I bought the tlm170i last year and had it checked out by Rob Squire. He cleaned the capsule and tested all the pattern switches and gave it a clean bill of health noting that the rear capsule was slightly duller than the front. I've used it for vocals mainly, as well as room mic and acoustic guitar and it performs flawlessly with the neumann class we all expect. Two small dings in the top of the grill where there when I bought it and some small usage marks are all that seperate it from a perfect example of this model. I'm a little confused about the exact version of the TLM 170 this is as there is both an 'i' version and an 'r' version. The band around the mic that describes the model says that this is an 'i' version but the pattern switch says it is the 'r' version as it shows the 'r' position for pattern select. What all of this means is beyond me other than it works and sounds great. serial number is 5291.
Ebay price seems to suggest around us$2000 so I'll take au$1900 + shipping. I don't have the leather case but I will ship it packed very well indeed, registered and insured.
I also have my AudioTechnica at-4050 still up for sale. Perfect condition and only lightly used comes with all original boxes, shockmount etc. Excellent all round mic and probably used by just about everybody.
$400 + shipping. SOLD
