there's a 3000LE on ebay right now.
When you get one, go and order the vailixi OS upgrade straight away. It adds lots of nice improvements.

Yeah im gonna get straight onto the Vailixi OS.
I know, I know...no mutes..
At least I can assign some pads to cutoff others etc. I know the mute groups are nothing on the 1000 but I guess I can work around that limitation if I need to.

Well technically there are mutes... You can mute or unmute any sequence track, just not by pads.
You can scroll through tracks in lcd and mute/unmute the current active track.
