Hey chaps,

Figured I would ask here before ordering a new bag. I'm chasing a couple of sheets of acoustisorb 3. If you have any gathering dust that you want to move on, drop me a PM!

Hey Gareth!

I was hoping for about a bag (three 1200x2400 sheets) with the intention of cutting it into smaller panels. If you have more, less, anything useable I'd love to take it off your hands!

Where do people source their Acoustisorb from?

This is the only place I can find online that actually lists prices.

Apparently you can order it through Bunnings. I should look into it. :)

Nath (or anyone) - did you ever find out if you can get this from Bunnings? I spoke to a guy there and he looked at me blankly.

Hey Manning!

I never really followed it up to be honest... but I have had a chat to my housemate who works behind the special orders & trade counter at the local bunnings. I know they don't usually stock Acoustisorb, but according to her they can order anything in as long as it appears on their list of suppliers.

I am sure I have seen tontine something or other in bunnings, so I imagine you could place a special order.

Check out Martini Industries as well. They make an Acoustisorb equivalent product called polymax.

Cool, thanks for the tip on Polymax. I dug around and the comparable product to Acoustisorb 3 looks to be Polymax Absorb XHD - http://www.polymaxinsulation.com.au/aco ... etail.html

Naturally no-one will even hint at prices... Bah. I'll get on the phone tomorrow.

Hey Manning,

We have been buying Acoustisorb from Mitre 10 in Canterbury for a really good price.
Give me a call and I can give you the details.
