Thanks Mike nice point.
I'm looking for 1700 per unit. They are virtually new in box, hardly used. Cost $2500 new.
They are a colourful pultec valve eq great for mix bus etc or even single channel eq. These particular style are better on acoustic or all sorts of varied programme material like electro, soundscape, folk, pop etc. The bass is very warm and the highs not over sweet but sweet all the same. They really open up the sound and create a lucid sound. The Q factor is adjustable for the highs/mids and the high end attenuate is adjustable from from 5-15k. They are pretty good on rock'n roll application but for this not as smooth as the H1's of the same brand, designed more to scoop out the sound. These P1's don't scoop the sound so much. The bottoms are tight, and the bottom end attenuate is always at the perfect frequency in relation to the boost(low mids/upper bass area). All in all a very nicely designed eq.
Reason for selling: I got a pair of both the H1's and P1's for mastering but ended up using the H1's since most my work is heavier material. Although the p1 's are great and save me on the occasional gig, I just can't justify them sitting there, although they do look cool.. They would be happier in a home that deals with the right kinda music for da eq..!
