FS: KM84 & Case; ex-CBS mic. Serviced etc.
Posted: Mon Feb 06, 2012 2:37 pmI bought this mic from Vintage King in December 2010. They had just taken stock of a handful from CBS and I thought I could do worse than to pick one up. I paid more than the going rate, but there was some kind of security in buying this at the time; false or not. I got in early and was able to have mine cherry picked from the bunch, so apparently the one I have is pretty good.
I'm asking $1300 for it. I paid several hundred more at the time - shouldn't have, but I got excited. If you are interested let me know. Not interested in swaps thanks.
Vintage King serviced it/gave it the all clear with warranty when I bought it. It's in great condition physically with no dents, marks or scratches. It sounds great. I haven't used any other KM84s to compare, so I won't rabbit on about it other than to say it certainly sounds good.
Took the photos with my iphone, if you want better ones let me know and I'll pull out the SLR.
