will go for next to nothing i imagine...
believe its missing power supply though?

The Amek Langley Recall is a lovely console.
I think its Rupert Neve design eq. Rick?
The recall function has a voice recording giving instructions
on how to recall console parameters, that you've saved.
The voice is supposed to be Rupert Neve.
Its quite funny when you hear it for the first time.
It left the Opera House with a power supply.
It has a lot of switches per channel, and would need constant love.
Its going for very cheap.

I had a Recall for a few years. Very nice console to mix on. The consoles came with two options for the mic pre chanel strip, standard or the RN strip that was the Neve design. In the one I had there where 8 of the RN strips and they where great to record through. They also have VCA gates comps and fader level digitally controlled via their total recall software however the faders wern't motorised. Where is it listed for sale?

Mackie MCUs come up regularly on eBay for between 600 and 1K - the one I had worked really well with PT (HUI protocol) and Reaper (Mackie protocol) - has flying faders / bank controls / jog wheel etc.

It's a few days late now, but there was an Amek Langely Recall desk (56 ch with neve channels) sold in NZ two days ago for NZ$8K

just that it was offered to me so i know it exists...

Looks like from the listing there are no power supplys, no computer or software, no documentation / schematics, no loom, a few faders missing. A bit of work, this one would be my guess. One of the Ameks from Adelaide had water damage but I don't suppose this was from there as they only sold recently. Does any one know of this ones history?
The price is low enough though.

Another listing has AMEK power supplies so I expect those are the power supplies for the console but not having the looms shouldn't be too hard to deal with as those are EDAC connectors which though they are not cheap are readily sourceable.

There should be Edac to 24 way Lemo looms in there somewhere. The console also has a TT Bantum patch bay that should have heaps of patch leads in the consoles glove compartment, yes glove compartment.

I think all the mic pres and EQ are Rupert Neve designed, but then there are some Recalls that come with a few (4/8) complete RN channels as far as I understand.

There where two types of mic pre strips. Sorry I have forgot the module names....it's been a few years. Most consoles where sold with the regular strips but at extra cost you could get the RL1 RN type that where fully discreet etc of higher quality. In the console i had there where 8 of these. I think the other option was simply called RN. It's bloody hard to find info on the net and my pics and a spare manual with schematics etc are on a back up drive in storage.

yeah I was just gonna ask what people think of the price it went for? Probably fair for the condition and what's (not) included.
Was gonna bid,but didn't realise it was ending that soon.
Oh well, we'll probably see it on the market in a few months for about 5-6K or so.

Good price but possibly lots of work. The overall condition is unclear and its been sitiing on a pallet in a fyshwick warehouse for how long? I had a crack when it was around $700 because I couldn't see it go for that low.

I was in there for a while until about $1400.

same.. under a grand would have been a bargain and a funny project..
but after that - even finding (making?) a power supply would have been a huge mission

still - a good buy for the right person

not sure if those 2 power supplies being auctioned would suit. They seem to be going cheap...

I was in there till 1600. After that common sence kicked in as i knew i didn't really need it and i was just pushing up the price for the poor fella that was obviously committed to getting it.
