Question for anyone who has bought stuff off Justin.....

How long did it normally take to get your items after you paid for them???

It has been a month now since payment and even after being in contact many times I have still not recieved anything or any info as to when I might.

I guess i am wondering if I have been screwed over or not.

Cheers. Jason

Hope it all works out. I am sure there will be a reason for the delay.

Cheers

He's still active on the gearslutz forum- might be best to put a post in the Aussie section there and see if he moves a bit quicker.

Thanks Alistair. I was thinking of that but I didn't want to spread the negative thoughts around to much on him. I will give Justin till tomorrow arvo to get in contact with me before I go further.

Cheers. Jason.

No worries Angus.

She has already tried to send it before so has my address. But I will supply it for the third time.

6 Garnet Ave
Kallangur, Qld, 4503

Justin has been replying to some texts so he most be getting them and his SSL only arrived last week (during the week) so he must have been home then......

Personally it think it's just more excuses but if I get what I paid for then it's all good :)

Cheers. Jason

Its Justins wife Rebecca. Justin has been away for two weeks and in sat phone territory. He unfortunately wasn't here to see his console arrive. His mate Mike uses his gearthing login to get some help in Sydney. I will post your microphone tomorrow. Sorry you have been stuffed around and justin said he is very sorry but got called away for work.

Ummm..... And Mike finished the post with 'Cheers Justin' and then had Justin's phone number as well..... A bit misleading if Mike was the one that did it.... that is.....

To be honest, if I had not had so many PM's from people experiencing the exact same problem's with Justin then I would believe you. I have spoken to Justin on the phone a couple times and he seems like a really nice guy. It's a shame this poo has happened over a couple hundred dollar mic.

My faith will be restored slightly if the mic arrives this week.....

Interesting to watch from the sidelines
Angus reckons hes a good guy - but busy like a lot of us?
A good guy takes peoples money and goes out of his way to ship the goods - straight away - busy is a very lame excuse Angus.
Its a very small industry...... word travels fast....

I dunno, Chris. That sounds a bit harsh... Even the best guys have bad days. Or events that don't go to plan. Ever double booked a studio? Ever had to postpone a session? It maybe a rare occurance, but it happens.

I would say the measure of a great bloke is how he deals with a situation that hasn't gone to plan. In this case, it could have been something as simple as some clear communication. That one I have learnt from experience. As Rick always says... everyone has their own race to run. Who knows, maybe the late notice two weeks work for Justin is keeping the wall from the doors on his family's home. It is no excuse for the lack of communication, but at least things appear to be getting back on track.

...But hey, I walk a little slower than most. I enjoy the sunshine. I watch cartoons in the morning. If I were to extend on my personal opinion of a "good guy", it wouldn't be one who is overly judgemental. Nor would it be one with no sense of redemption... especially if the situation ends up being something as simple as a microphone arriving a bunch of weeks behind the schedule. There are much bigger things to gripe about in life than that, imo.
