WTB: JP-8000

Hey guys, just hunting one of these down and was wondering if any of you kind T'Rockers knows of anyone wanting to sell. Preferably mint condition and 240v.

Don't have one, but just to throw it out there, are you looking at a JP-8000 only? Or also a JP-8080?

Sans keyboard and interface, the 8080 does have a couple of tricks that the 8000 doesn't have, including an extra 2 voices if I remember correctly.

Ah, I kind of miss mine (8080) which I sold a few years back... one day I'll hunt one down again... mainly for that Supersaw and some other tricks it has (like the motion sequencer)

Ah cool, yeah am specifically after the keyboard to sit on a dual stand and go with my V-Synth, should make a pretty pair I think

I got to play one at Awave a while back and was really impressed, hence the search.

Seen the one's on the bay but they've all either been in bad nick or not 240v, happy to wait for a better one, not in a rush.

can't you get the supersaw on the gaia ? it'd be cheaper?

Don't know what the JP8000 sells for, but I'm going to be selling my MKS80 and Programmer in a couple of weeks.

^ Yes, actually the V-Synth does the supersaw too, but actually I've played all three and the JP sounds the best cause it's actually DSP modeled, both the V and GAIA are sampled waveforms I think.

Yeah, I'll second that. Had a JP-8080 before, and sold it. After that had a V-Synth XT, and it wasn't quite the same. Never tried a Gaia (doubt I ever will) I do plan on picking up a JP-8000/JP-8080 again somewhere down the line...

i always wanted a jp8000 too when i used to make dance trance stuff agesss ago.

now i have a virus ti and i dont think i need it. horses for courses though.
