Hello,

I'm in the middle of a house move and need to off load some gear that isn't getting used as much as it should - I've posted it up on ebay all at really low start prices with no reserve - would be great if Turtlerockers kept some of it :)

All of the gear is in Melbourne and can be checked out at my place in Preston or Balwyn after the 19th Oct.

Most of it I'm happy to post at the buyers expense, but pickup is always better !

Look for my username on ebay 'tecoma1970' or go to:
http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/tecoma1970/m.html?item=251164983480&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649&_trksid=p4340.l2562

Some more gear will be going up in the next few days but this is it so far with ebay auction prices as they stand at the moment - I've started super low on purpose with no reserve - somewhere between a 1/3 and 1/5th of what I paid for it - my loss is your gain;

Gear:
-Expertly Racked by Rob Squire @ Proharmonic & in awesome condition - 2 X Telefunken V676A Preamps w/ 2 X Neumann W491A EQ units
Auction start - $750

-Rode K2 Valve Microphone, I bought it new and is in great condition
Auction start - $200

-Hofner Senator Archtop Guitar w/ Mini humbucker - German built in 1962; Frets re-dressed by Jim Matheas & expertly Setup a year later by Brenden @ Real Guitars.
Auction start - $400

-A pair of Fostex PM0.5 Active studio monitors - great condition
Auction start $100

-Little Labs IBP (ultimate Phase shift & Re-amp unit), bought new from Vintage King for around $700 and in as new condition
Auction start $250

-2 X DBX 903 compressors (lunchbox version of classic 160), 1 X 902 De-esser & 1 X 905 EQ - racked by Barney & Gavin @ Pickstone Audio (the rack looked like that when I gave it to them!) using high quality Neutrik connectors and Canare cables.
Auction start (for the lot) $250

-Other stuff that's up there include; Gator 6U rack case & LR Baggs DI

Thanks very much for having a look.

Wow, don't buy these, people - they're rubbish!

I mean, would I lie so as stop you bidding on these just so I can get them for myself?

(OK, the truth - I bought two of these from Heath (ex Rob Squire) and they are freaking fantastic)

Hey All,

I've got a bunch of PMs and gotta clarify, the prices listed are the Start points (hopefully ONLY the start!) of the ebay Auction for the gear, I linked to in the post.

I really hope they move off the start prices and if they don't, it'll be cos they may not be the same level of awareness of how special (and more expensive!) some of those bits of gear are O/S - the Telefunken/Neumann rack especially. To give you some idea on the rare occasion they come up for sale from the places that specialise in this stuff (Marquette Audio Labs, Vintage King, www.hestudiotechnik.de ) you would expect to pay upwards of $1600 AUD for just one pair of these (just the Eq X 2, or just the Telefunken Pres X 2).

Whoever gets them is going to love them; cos they sound amazing and are rock solid reliable.

Cheers,
A Pyliotis

Nice unit, do you have any other interesting rack gear you're going to be selling soon?

Nup.. Nothing I want to let go of -- I think I will have enough separation anxiety with that lot..

From memory the other stuff I'm going to post up hopefully at the weekend will be this super old Trumpet with stacks of character, one of the early Roland Cube amps, a mic stand, this headphone amp and a little busking amp - nothing heaps seriou, just fun stuff I've got lieing around that'd be good to get rid of.

This could get ugly... LOL

Hmmm.... I already have a pair of the Tfunks so there is no reason to get another pair...

... like that matters.

I added the last of the stuff today, all up on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/tecoma1970/m.html?hash=item3a7a9a0eb2&item=251165019826&pt=AU_Pro_Audio&rt=nc&_trksid=p4340.l2562

-ART passive headphone Amp (new) - Auction Start $20

-Rode DS1 Desk mic Stand (new) - Auction Start $10

-Trumpet (Boosey & Hawkes) it's over 50 years old and it's best playing days are behind it but it'd be a really special start instrument - Auction Start $20

-1980s Roland Cube 20 Guitar Amp (a bit ugly, but works fine)- Auction Start $15

-Neutrik Patch Bay (great condition, not 2 years old) - Auction start $30

-Danelectro Mini Guitar Amp (works fine, a busking amp or toy) - Auction Start $5

Everything works fine & postage (on some items) and pickup is available from Melbourne, or Albury.
PM me to organise a time to check out anything before auctions time out in the next 1-9 days.

Thanks for having a look :)
