For free SYD: Software plus 8ch 16bit interface + PC
I have some gear that is 10 years old, but still serviceable, may be useful to someone:
Logic audio 5 "big box" Mac/PC incl vst plugins: evp73 (emulation of Fender Rhodes), ES1, ESXP24 sample player
an old 8 in/8 out Audiotrak interface (16 bit unbalanced. A couple of the jack inputs/outputs probably need a squirt of Deoxit to clean the contacts)
An old rackmount PC PIV, 2.66GHz, even comes with a license for Windows XP ;-) Asrock motherboard was also on the Protools compliant list back in its day.
This combo worked very well together. With the right drivers, logic audio 5 on Windows and this interface worked sweet. Still useable as an 8 track digital recording system if you only need 16bit converters.
I don't know if anyone can use this stuff, but because its old, I'll be giving it away for free! Or if you really like it you could give me a 6 pack of some beer!
Send me a PM if interested. Might even be worth it just for the VST plugins, if you like the EVP73 and the ESXP24, but have a PC setup, then this is a way of getting VST versions of the ol' mac fav's that will run on your PC.
