Doing a studio spring clean so I have a few things on offer.

Ace Tone Rhythm Ace FR-2L Drum Machine - Originally released in 1972 and made in Japan by Ace Tone which was founded by one of the guys who later founded Roland. Theres plenty of Google info out there on this model. Mine is in pretty good cosmetic shape considering its age. Mechanically all the buttons work and all the sounds are still in there. The sound does, however, slowly get softer and more distorted after about 10 minutes of constant playing. Not bad after 40 years, its probably a bad cap or something simple like that but I have never had it checked out. I just recorded loops off it usually anyway so it never effected me too much.
SOLD

Keynote Auto Rhythm Mark XX Drum Machine - This one is also made in Japan from the 70's but its a bit more obscure. Has a great feature set, a little more complex than the Rhythm Ace and the sounds are probably a step up too. Again this is in good condition for its age, however, the sound again starts out fine and after about 10 minutes a high pitched feedback sound slowly creeps in. Again I've never had it checked out but a recap would probably solve this.
SOLD

Avantone Mixcubes Pair, passive - I bought these new about 5 years ago. They have literally never moved from my studio speaker stands and I have only used them on average for a few hours every couple of weeks. These are consecutive serial numbers and apart from a bit of dust, they are as new. These are a re-make/tribute to the Auratone Mixcubes of the 70's. http://www.avantonepro.com/Avantone-Mix ... itors.html
SOLD

Black Lion Audio Wordclock Cables - I have two of these, one is the Premium and one is their standard. Both 1 metre long and never been used. I have three other Premiums that I use with my Microclock II, awesome cables. http://www.blacklionaudio.com/content.php?p=4
$40 for both, plus postage.

Photos coming soon. Get in touch if you're interested, all prices are open to serious offers.

Hey Al,

quick question - what amp do you run your mixcubes with out of curiosity?
rough idea on postage of the 2 to Melbourne?

cheers

I use a 50w per side consumer amp, nothing fancy but it does the job. They dont need that much juice tho, 25w would be fine.

Postage to Melbs registered would be around $25 going off previous experience.
