I have Avalons for sale!

AD2022 dual mic pre
AD2044 compressor
AD2055 EQ
VT-737sp - channel strip

I don't have photos...yet but will pull my finger out and organise this.
The deal is these are all fully refurbished units. They were factory swap outs that had trivial faults. So by and large they have only a tinsy bit of marking around the rack mounting holes. They have new top and bottom lids. They have new tubes ( where applicable ). They have had Avalon parts installed where a repair was required. They are aligned and tested to factory specs.
I have been the Avalon authorised repairer since Avalon started. I can offer a 12 month warranty on these units.
What they don't have is original cartons or manuals
I don't have firm prices. I'm open to sensible offers.

Down the track I will have a number of VT-737sp ready to go, that will vary in cosmetic condition. However all units will be 100% electronically and with new tubes. All VT-737sp will have the fast attack (or babyface ) mod.

I am clearly 100% incapable of maintaining any self-control, especially when a "Rob Squire Approved" Avalon is concerned.

So a VT737 is going to be wending its way to me shortly. I was going to buy another Fearn, but this will be very good (and I've already got two Fearns).

I have just spent a few hours comparing a stock Avalon 737 with the "Rob Squire enhanced" model that arrived on Thursday...

Now I'm not techie enough to accurately describe the cause of the difference, but Rob's manages to be both warmer yet crisper (if that even makes sense).

Anyway, if Rob has any of these left, I highly recommend you get one. They are *the shit*.

Not like anyone here needs to be told, but Mr Squire is more than worthy of the many kudos we bestow on him.

but just to clarify. These Avalons are not enhanced, rather they are refurbished and aligned and tested to factory specs.
I do put higher grade tubes in them though!

Well you did something. We did a blind A/B test (three listeners) and yours won every round.
