unfortunately selling these as i have to follow the path that the company seems to be going, and need the money to buy other things (long cable runs, madi converters, avid etc) and it feels unfare to have them in a case hardly ever used.

for those not familiar, prism was a modular system based on the V series (i believe)
my rack has 5x pre/ dynamic modules
and 5x EQ
BUT the awesome thing is that its all wired up to XLR patch bay with ins and outs and switches to link or separerate the EQ sections (so you can use it as 5 pre/ comps and 5 separate EQ, or as 5 full channel strips)

in a rack, all wired up beautifully, with the original massively overbuilt power supply.
all in perfect working order.
no need to explain that these sound AWESOME

will post/ email photos if folks are interested
or if in sydney you can of course drop in and see them.
please email rather then PM.

hows 7000 sound?
thats 1400 bucks per channel of pre/dynamics/ EQ all original neve racked and powered not a thing to do..
boom.

Price looks more than fair, Gareth.

Lack of $7000 is probably the biggest problem. Same as with Steve Bartlett's console, I'm sure there are lots of people wanting to buy it...

The Prism modules sound every bit as good as you would expect any Neve gear to sound.

Think of it as a mini-neve console, without the hassles of a big neve console... and the price looks pretty good to me ;-)

Very good price. Years ago, I fixed one of these for a guy who bought it sight-unseen, it had been stored in a damp garage in Brisbane for 6 months. I spent $3,000 on the repair, they sold it for 22K, without a patchbay. Sounded gorgeous.
