No dramas. We all know there are plenty of "anonymous" forums around, so the way T-rock operates can be a little unfamiliar.

Rick O'Neil (who runs Turtlerock, as well as this forum) wants this to be a "social environment of real people", and this is why we use our real names (and if relevant, our professional association).

Whatever drawback there is to this loss of privacy, it is vastly outweighed by getting to know real people.

In the past two years I've built and opened a commercial studio, and there is absolutely no way I would have managed it without the advice of the *profoundly* knowledgeable people who frequent this place.

I know the PM1000 is considered by some as the japenese neve.

Check out the Yamaha M1532, M1516 Very similar to the PM2000 and use the same op amps as the pm2000, there are some differences with the master section from what i have read but there is a work around to mod the master section!

I have a Yamaha M1532 and i love it!

Dumb questions have never bothered me, it's dumb answers that are annoying.
